“This generous donation is very important to our campaign,” said Billie Chasen, president of Art League Houston. “The Wortham Foundation, Inc. is helping us achieve our mission by contributing to the facilities that are necessary to our programs and services.”
During the campaign Art League Houston has received donations from over 200 individuals with gifts ranging from $5 to $100,000. In addition to making cash donations, supporters are also given the option to purchase bricks for $250, which will be engraved and placed outside the building.
