This class covers jewelry construction techniques including:  piercing, drilling, soldering, riveting, forging, reticulation, and roller printing as well as hydraulic forming.  New students will gain skills with a variety of hand tools and approaches to design.

Advanced topics may include granulation, jewelry rendering, and blanking.  In this class there is a strong emphasis on problem solving and helping students develop a personal design vocabulary.  Multiple class levels allow new students to see a variety of advanced techniques and applications.  Individualize instruction allows students to progress at their own pace.  A lab fee of $35 is included in the total amount in tuition fee, covering acetylene, common use chemicals, and finishing supplies.
