1-Day Workshop
$120 members / $155 public

The cyanotype process was originally developed in the early 20th century and continues to inspire contemporary artists to this day. In this workshop we will harness the sun’s rays to create one of a kind blue and white photographic prints. This is a beginner’s course and will cover everything from mixing your photographic chemicals, which papers work best with this process and how to design and create your artworks. Students should bring watercolor paper, brushes, printed photographs or images black and white- higher the contrast the better, and pressed flowers/plant life or fabric scraps to experiment with.
