This class covers jewelry construction techniques including:  piercing, drilling, soldering, riveting, forging reticulation and roller printing as well as hydraulic forming.  Advanced topics may include granulation, jewelry rendering, and blanking.  In this class there is a strong emphasis on problem solving which helps students develop a personal design vocabulary.  Multi-level classes allow new students to see a variety of advanced techniques and applications.  Individualized instruction allows students to progress at their own pace.

Kneaded Clay: The Intersection of Craft and Culinary (S-2) | IN-PERSON CLASS

In this handbuilding class, we’ll explore the playful connection between baking and working with clay. Just like kneading dough or shaping pastries, handbuilding invites a tactile and rhythmic process of forming and refining. Participants will use simple tools and techniques. Such as coil building, slabs and coils to create clay forms inspired by the kitchen. No experience needed.
