In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to create a unique piece of multi-texture embroidered art. Explore creative techniques like incorporating beads, fabric, sequins, metallic thread, and even watercoloring your base fabric to bring your design to life.

This class is all about letting go of perfectionism and embracing the creative process—because just like life, art can be beautifully messy. Each week, you’ll be introduced to a new technique to build onto your piece, guiding you step-by-step from your first stitches to a finished, one-of-a-kind creation.

Throughout this workshop, you will design and create a keepsake brooch, a personal amulet inspired by cultural heritage or personal character. Using the tactile techniques of felt layering appliqué and hand-stitching, we will transform fabric into a wearable symbol of protection and identity. This workshop is open to all skill levels and emphasizes the intersection of storytelling and craft, inviting you to anchor your personal magic into every stitch.
