WITHDRAW AND REFUNDS (Temporarily Amended due to coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak)
Students must contact Art League Houston or Director of Education in order to receive refunds or class credits. Drop forms will be filed by staff.
Art League School student drop forms must be filled for each course of withdrawal.
If you wish to withdraw from your class due to health concerns relating to COVID-19, the deadline to withdraw for the 2020 Spring semester is end of day Wednesday March 18, 2020.
If you have the means, please consider helping our organization by foregoing refunds for withdrawing from classes.
All refunds are typically subject to a $60 registration and processing fee which covers online processing fee's, as well as operational expenses. We are very sympathetic to people's personal circumstances. We are also extremely aware of our employee's financial dependence on classes being purchased.
That said, we acknowledge that we are in an unprecedented time with COVID-19 and are willing to temporarily reduce the cancellation fee to $20. Alternatively, ALH will provide tuition credits for future semesters to any students who may feel ill or are uncomfortable with attending class due to COVID-19.
Class credits are non-transferable and must be used within one year from date of issue.
If there were to be a compulsory city-wide quarantine period due to COVID-19, class credit will be authorized.
Failure to attend sessions or verbal notification will not be regarded as an official notice of withdrawal. Our drop form must be completed in full and returned to the office before the first scheduled day of class.
Membership items are non-refundable.
