This class centers on the creative process, with an emphasis on experimentation and play. Using materials such as pastels, paint, and collage, you'll explore a variety of techniques that let the act of making guide your work. Prior experience with painting or drawing is welcome but not required—this course encourages both figurative and abstract exploration. The focus is on discovering new approaches, embracing texture, and allowing materials to lead the way, with your final piece serving as a reflection of your creative journey.
