Studio 2

This class introduces the fundamentals of relief printmaking, including image planning, image transfer, carving, hand-printing, and editioning. Students will also explore techniques for creating multi-color prints. After developing an understanding of the printmaking process and various paper types, students will complete at least two projects, producing an edition of 10 prints for each.

Please note that this course focuses exclusively on hand-printing techniques and does not include press printing.
