Studio 1

In this class you will be learning hand-building construction techniques, students will create a variety of functional pottery forms including mugs, vases, and bowls. Students will also learn about textures, surface patterns, and designs on their pieces. Emphasis will be on good craftsmanship and functional forms. Underglazes and application techniques will be demonstrated, such as graffito, inlay & transfers, Glaze education, and proper application for a beautifully finished piece.
