This seven-week class will cover basic techniques and skills of the gouache medium. Learn the difference between gouache, acrylic, and watercolor as well as how to harness some of gouache’s unique opaque layering abilities. Students will learn the basics of color mixing, proper layering techniques, how to work with transparency, and rendering.
